🚀 Sneak Peek: SimTracker 2.0 🚀
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on something a bit nerdy but super handy for Sims 2 fans: SimTracker 2.0. It’s a personal project I built using MS Access—so yes, it’s made by a non-developer, but it actually works surprisingly well! 😅
Here’s what I’ve got so far (these are all the screens currently available):
🖥 Welcome Screen & Main Menu – Friendly and easy to navigate.
📋 Data & Lists – Keep track of your lots, households, Sims, pets, relationships, and more.
📄 Reports & Letters – Quickly generate overviews, letters, or reports about your Sims and neighborhoods.
🌆 SimTracker 2.0 Overview – See your whole hood at a glance.
ℹ️ Info & About – Learn what’s what and get all the credits.
💬 Feedback – Share thoughts, ideas, or report any quirks.
Note: For the main features, I’ve outlined ten items per section to-do—so there’s plenty more functionality coming.
Limitations:
Since this is built in MS Access, it’s not a full-fledged app—think of it more like a detailed spreadsheet with some extra bells and whistles.
Only tracks what you input manually (no live game integration).
Some features might feel a little clunky—hey, I’m not a professional dev!
Future plans:
I’m exploring import/export possibilities to make life easier: think SimPE → Excel → Access, or even SimPE → Access directly. This could let you pull your Sims’ data straight into SimTracker instead of typing everything manually.
I’d love your thoughts:
❤️ Like if this sparks your interest
💬 Comment with suggestions, feedback, or features you’d want
🙋♂️ Volunteer as a tester if you want early access and don’t mind a few bugs
I’ll be sharing screenshots of every section soon, so stay tuned if you want a peek behind the curtain. This is just a hobby project, but it could make managing your Sims 2 worlds a lot more organized.
sooo i’ve been thinking… should i make a sims 2 blog?? 👀
i’ve always loved playing but my discs used to crash CONSTANTLY so i never really thought about sharing my gameplay before. i actually got the Legacy Collection a while back and recently started a new uberhood/megahood (aka i mashed all the premade worlds together lol) and i’m actually super excited about it??
i kinda wanna post updates about everyone’s lives + the chaos that always happens in TS2… and i also love making custom hoods, so that’s definitely something i’d want to share too 👀
and maaaybe eventually try making my own cc someday?? 😭
idk would anyone like that??
should i make a sims 2 blog?
yes
no
You guys asked for it and I was happy to oblige !!! I finally got around to building this Sims 2 eclectic & cozy residential cottage as a match to the Paris Café & Bakery. It was quite a challenge to build a home that had the coziness of a small witches cottage, while still maintaining a mix of modern & Parisian elements. But here we are and its perfect!
Evergreen Institute of Technology
“A humble begining of a university hood”
Hello everyone, this is the master post for all the buildings I created for my university hood. There isn’t much in here yet but I have plans to build greek houses, houses for students to rent and corner shops maybe an arcade.
I used the Pitchfork River map which is made by M.M.A.A. from Modthesims. I added the map and the links to the lots under the cut as I will keep updating this post to link to the new builds I make in the future.
The School Selector
I’ve been working on The School Selector for The Sims 2 — a fun way to sort your Sims into different education systems (Belgian, Hogwarts, or USA). It’s version 3.2 (Beta), still evolving, but definitely playable.
I’m already using it in my own game and loving the variety it adds. Curious — who else is already using it, or who’s planning to give it a try? 👀
The previous School Project Education Selector (only Belgian School) version 2.0 can still be found on SimFileShare http://simfileshare.net/
Evergreen Campus Shops - 3x3 - Clothing and Electronics Shops
Hello everyone,
This is the last build for my University so far. I have plans for building some houses for rent, another but more modern looking dorm, possible greek houses with modern architecture, as I’m not a fan of eclectic buildings, and a little corner grocer in the residential area.
I will share the map and the ‘hood view when I find the time to show you all, how I planned for these 4 lots to appear. I’m open to ideas about what else I can build for the university hood.
CC list is under the cut!
Enjoy!

I strongly recommend using Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer to install this lot and for all your other lot and sim installs in Sims 2.
Evergreen Tech Library - 4x3 - Library&Coffee Shop
Hello everyone,
Those of you that follows me probably knows that I’ve been sharing buildings I created for my “build a hood” challenge. (I guess it’s a challenge but I’m not following any rules other than my regular gameplay stuff.) Anyway, the kids in that hood are almost at the age of college! So I needed to start setting up a university neighbourhood for them.
I will share the map with the lot links after the first 4 or 5 lots are done. For start I wanted to surround this middle square section of the map with 4 lots, each of them having 2 different but related community lot aspects. (I also wanted to create the illusion of a lake in the middle of all these lots, looks better in hood view.)
The first lot is the library and the campus coffee shop. I think of this also as a student union and the main building of the campus area.
I had so much fun building this lot, I hope you’ll enjoy it as well!
