Conservatories for Zebrasimmer

Here are my entries for the Zebrasimmer conservatory challenge by my lovely friend Zebrasimmer_ on Instagram. For this challenge we got to decorate a sims version of her real life conservatory. I had so much fun with this that I ended up making two builds! I hope you like them!

The warm, cozy boho inspired room, is the one I made first. It's divided into two sections, a cozy boho inspired lounge area and a gardening area with some nice raised grow boxes and everything you need for your garden. 

The lush one was the second one that I made. This is my personal favorite. I feel like the light coming through the glass roof looks so good with the white and green! 😊

Sequoia Sunflower Daycare

The Grandparents Boathouse

The Grandparents Boathouse

This house and its story is actually several years old, but I finally gave it a makeover and made it cc-free. So now I'm sharing it with you!

Background story:

This house has been in the same family for many generations, and is now the home of Maggie and Walter Hollis, a sweet elderly couple. The old house is full of memories of their life together. Here they brought up their only daughter, Susan. Walter stood up early every morning to go out with the fishing boat, while Maggie sent Susan off to school and tended to their vegetable garden. They then went to the town market to sell the days catch together.

Years went by, Susan grew up and moved to San Myshuno. She now has two kids of her own, Etta and Milo, who love visiting their grandparents in their little house by the bay. Especially in the summer, when they can go swimming in the sea, and stay up late playing simbles by the fireplace while the stars come out.

While Walter still goes out fishing, it's mostly for fun these days. With their daughter being busy with her own life and unable to help much, the weeds are slowly taking over the vegetable garden, and the couple have a hard time keeping the house in shape. They still enjoy their life here, but for how long will they be able to stay before they need to sell? Or will their grandchildren persuade their parents to take it over?

Two (very different) infant nurseries

I built these two nurseries for the simply infant challenge by simplysimhome on Instagram. I was so Inspired by this challenge that I had make two builds. I hope you like them!

I made the bright room first, for this one I was inspired by my own sons room.

The inspiration for the darker nursery came to me when trying to decide on a wallpaper for another build, and then the rest just sort of happened.
