The 170 or so guests joining the Clarks for state banquet in Buckingham Palace Ballroom hosted by Queen Anne II include Britain’s prime minister, senior royalty, ambassadors, business leaders, top brass, leading academics, prominent nobility and even the archbishop of Canterbury.
Queen Anne II stated that the U.S. and Britain in most cases see world problems in the same light, and that the U.S.-U.K relationship is - in her words - "special."
Tomorrow morning, President Clark will visit 10 downing street to discuss serious world issues include middle east situation and green energy with prime minister Rose.
