Verdante bachelor pad
Skyla Verdante took the kids and moved out. I decided to give her the house they were living in and built this for Roman instead. It’s a highrise on 8 Wellington St. and had a much smaller and not at all glamorous apartment before. Took some sloppy pics before I went to bed, and here they are.
Arghh!
I reinstalled my game recently, and somehow, my latest save of Auberon got lost in transistion! And I thought I had been so careful and backed up everything. Thankfully I had an old save from before Christmas on an extern disc. Joe and Pauline are back in the old apartment, but at least she is already pregnant with their first child. The woman in pink is (of course) a paparazzi, whom I evendently haven’t made over yet. A sight that makes for sore eyes…
It’s Anita’s birthday. She was already Athletic, Ambitious and Brave and now she’s also Handy, which comes in handy (!!) because she recently chose The Tinkerer as her LTW.
Anita, Joe’s daughter from a previous relationship, has joined him, Pauline and little Zebulon i their new apartment. She seems to be liking it.
Meanwhile - in Auberon...
Pauline keeps working on her career even if she’s already on maternity leave - she actually manages to get a promotion to Editor in Chief before the baby arrives. (My sims are pregant for 504 hours and start walking like ducks 24 hours before it’s time to give birth.) One foggy morning at the end of Autumn it’s time. I had Joe active and clicked “take to hospital” and then of course they ended up taking Pauline’s car with her at the wheel. This game...
Meanwhile... in Auberon
Young married sims Joe and Pauline Scarabaldi are expecting their first child. That means that Pauline is now on maternity leave. It is summer, and today Joe invites his daughter Anita (from a previous relationship) to the beach. Pauline instead goes to a booksigning. Outside we spot Marian Lyttle. Oh my, she’s not only pregnant, she seems to have been stuffing herself quite a bit. Father of her unborn child is Fredrich Hayden.
Welcome Zebulon Scarabaldi! You are Athletic and Love the Outdoors. No matter how you really will grow up to look, you will still get the looks of the original Zebulon. And you will have a sister named Courtney. Originally they were twins, but I’ll settle for a very small gap in time between these siblings. I foresee a lot of watermelons in the near future for you, Pauline. They “forgot” Pauline’s car at the hospital and took Joe’s limo back home (he’s in level 8 of the Professional Sport career). They didn’t stay for long there though. It was time to move to something more posh and “grown-up”, they have money enough. Also, the game informed me that Joe’s ex, Lisa, is expecting her third child with husband Alan Goodwin. That means that their house will become rather crowded, so Anita (Joe’s daughter with Lisa) will move in with him and Pauline instead. She’ll become a teenager in just a couple of days, so I’ll wait until then.
Later that same day, since it is the best day this summer (clear weather but not too hot), Joe and Pauline go the Summer Festival where they by pure chance meet parts of Pauline’s family. Joe has been swimming and exercising, so he is very tired and has to take a nap before he can do anything else. Pauline choses to have a snow cone together with her father, Robert. Her mother, Martha, proves to a spry old lady. When Joe wakes up, he joins the fun by asking Eva, the wife of Pauline’s brother Pete, to dance.
