those are my my towels, my roommates towels { he's gone btw }, and my best friend Rachael's towels because she came and helped me for a minute before she went to the frat house.
The distinct sound of cuffs, and the cold of the metal around her wrists, make her eyes widen slightly. After a moments pause she can react, “Uhm… wanna explain this?” Eva asks as she wiggles her hands.
Three years had passed, but it felt like so much longer than that. Even if Evangeline and her hadn’t gotten as close as Ren would have liked before her tragic death, she still considered Evangeline a good friend. The grave stone is cold as ever, even seeping past her naturally warm body and settling into her bones. She lets her hand drop away from the stone marker and to the wilting flowers on the base.
She watches the flowers burn away to ash before setting a new bouquet on in it’s place. With a sigh, she stands, eyes closing against the faint breeze. She smells the achingly familiar scent of Evangeline and huffs a small smile at how uncanny it was her mind was tricking her.
“I’m sorry.”
Chocolate hues blink open, turning in confusion to the one who had spoken behind her. Then she blinks again, both shocked and in disbelief. Was she seeing a ghost? Hesitantly she reaches out, brushing her fingertips along a slender neck and collarbone. When she’s met with warm flesh, she gasps. Then, without thinking, that same hand snaps back and then forward, slapping Evangeline hard. It makes her hand sting and turn red, but that doesn’t stop it from fisting in Evangeline’s shirt and yanking her forward. Arms wrap around a slender body, nuzzling into the column of her throat and relishing her scent. She wants to ask why, but right now all she can think is how happy she is that Evangeline is there at all.
A breathy sob, a growl lacing her words. “You bitch.” she sniffles.
This broke my heart and made me laugh at the same time. Fucking beautiful, RooRoo. -tackles and squeezes-
