Tifa blinked at the white-haired man’s words, a part of her curious about his identity, another part being wary of him. One thing was certain for her: she was grateful that he had protected her village when the victim had obviously arrived in it with bad intentions.
“I see… ” She looked away, her focus now centered on the corpse. Some weeks ago, she had started her training and since then, she had been told that in order to protect, sacrifices were needed. She had never killed before, but if it was for Nibelheim’s sake, she wouldn’t hesitate. At least that’s what she told herself. That’s what she wanted to believe. She would eventually grow accustomed to this style of life.
