Snow day melt down.😂At the end of a long, trapped day, you have to appreciate the brutal emotional honesty of a toddler...And, the brutal honesty as a single mom, that you, yourself, would rather be anywhere but here, trapped in an apartment of caged emotions... 😂🔫 So, why do we as moms, run from, deny the negatives of how our children make us feel? Why is it such a taboo conversation? We love unconditionally, yes-but just as their little emotions rise and fall, so do ours. And, in the end, to compartmentalize these emotions, locking them away in the storage of "I do not feel this," is it truly healthy for us, them?...How does this storage of locked emotions play out in our adult relationships...?
