Been a while since I talked about him so I felt like it’s about time since the dlc finally dropped. So hares knife dose have some interesting details.

Now the blade itself was inspired by a hunters knife sharping some design language with a Ahzrak’s own spear. The rune itself is the same one the architect sports onto of his hood.

So why dose hare have a knife with a demonic rune in it?

Hare much the slayer isn’t a stranger when it comes to demons this not only because him and the slayer are from the same earth but also because of hares own dealing with them. This is mainly due to his medical condition.

After his participated in the UAC cryogenics program hare bing part of the first batch his organs never recovered from the actually process resulting in a slow but steady organ failure due to his intestines being unable to extract nutrients from any type of food.

This resulted in hare stumbling upon a similar type of substance to what the slayer had been injected with. Now I’ve still yet to decide who exactly is supposed to be the one who gives him access to this. There is an argument to be made that it could be the architect since hare is branding one of his supposed weapons but would most likely be Ahzrak who be giving him micro doses so he can have his own little spy.

Now the case for the actually blade is a sentinel symbol. And is the same symbol that can be found in Marok’s codex page.

I don’t actually have all that much to say about this part when it comes to the knife I just thought it was cute.

I tried to make Marok as much as the icon as possible, need to figure out a good way to draw Marok more cartoony but it’s a start

I thought more about the ship name and I think maybe Sinrabbit (Marok (the future icon of sin) x Hare (oc)) would be a better one so for now i guess that’s their official ship name
