“Those are guns aren’t they? My brother uses a larger model. Actually - a lot of the ones I see aren’t that small. It must be convenient.” He was too used to seeing Hubert’s and the larger types frequently used by the Fendel military. Fendel operated differently than he’d expected any country on Ephinea to run - very militaristic. 

He shook his head from side to side. “I don’t understand the appeal of them. I’d feel open without my blade.” His hand reached down and patted the hilt of his sword.

Ludger was minding his own business walking through the streets of Duval when he noticed a small girl trying to reach up and climb to a place much higher than she was. Being the do-gooder that he was, he figured he might as well see what she was trying to reach, 

“Need help reaching something?” He asked, approaching her as he looked up to see what she was trying to get to, It looked like a balcony of sorts. Huh...
