sunlight: my muse accidentally steps into sunlight and your muse finds them. - @remmickofficial
On cloudy days it was hard to tell when Remmick would be rousing, but it was rarely in the early afternoon so it was the time that Siridean liked to go hunting for himself. Nothing so dangerous as hunting people alone, but animals. Hares, squirrels, and other small prey that could tide him over until they went to actual hunting at night.
The rays of warmth came and went through the boughs of the trees, a light, late summer breeze rustling them every few moments.
Siridean's tawny mountain lion coat did a descent job at keeping him unseen in the dry underbrush. His prey didn't scent him before it was too late, he leaped, sunk his teeth in and there was the sharp, piercing cry of a dying animal followed by the crunch as he followed through with the pressure of his bite.
With the limp thing hanging from his jaws, he began to contentedly pad his way back to the run down shack they had gone to hole up in. One of the larger clouds ambled its way free letting sun soak into his fur. And there was Remmick in the clearing-
There was Remmick and the sun was out. Smoke and fire started to lick at the vampire's form the moment that light hit him, a screech of primal fear erupting from the shapeshifter. The prey was dropped and he was charging, colliding, sending the both of them sprawling back into the shade.
"What the fuck are ye doin', are ye tryin' to fuckin' die?! Ye fuckin' idiot?! What the fuck is wrong with ye?!"
Siridean was screaming now, no longer the puma, his hands gripping and shaking at Remmick's shoulders, fear making his voice crack.
"Don't ye ever fuckin' do that again- Don't you fuckin' do it-" His hands were trembling, his breath harsh, on the verge of sobbing. He had almost watched the other man die. Still smelled his smoldering burns. "Don't ye fuckin' leave me." Siridean trembled out a breath and pressed his face to the chest of the vampire. Even if their relationship had its bumps, it didn't mean he wanted to see the other man dead. He was one of the very few people that he had. Seeing Remmick die would be just as bad as watching any of the others die. He couldn't handle it.
