A #SirinGIFS flashback to one of our hikes in Maryland! After some sweaty bushwhacking along an overgrown trail, we finally made it to the banks of the reservoir. There were a bunch of cute turtles sunning on a log, and a little one swimming in the water whose head popped up for a second before slowly submerging back under the surface. Then we saw something moving ever-so-slightly in the distance, and realized it was a man fishing. Apparently, this reservoir is a fishing hotspot, brimming with walleye, northern pike, bass, and yellow perch! I didn’t actually see the fishies, but I always like to imagine them swimming and eating and splashing around for fun. . This little painting is also available as a print (both unframed and framed) in my @etsy shop (link in bio)!
