At first, Pandora had thought that it was the usual low mood she felt towards the end of the Holidays. With her spirits so high during that time of year, it was normal for her to feel exhausted emotionally and physically. But the nausea and shifts in her mood caused alarm to Xenophilius, and it was to the extent that her husband even insisted she have Sirius accompany her to the doctor when he was unable.
He had wanted to; but Pandora had seen the summons from the Ministry for him. Given how hard he had taken the last rejection from them, she didn’t want him to lose out on an opportunity because of her. She was just surprised that he had called on Sirius to take her. Usually, she assumed his first go-to would be Remus given the two were more able to get along. Though, it seemed Xenophilius had a bit of a change of heart in regards to the man.
“...Maybe I overdid it this year? I don’t know what else it could be. I’ve never felt like this in the past when ill.” She flinched a bit at her stomach, wishing she could eat anything and keep it down. St. Mungos was luckily lacking in patients, so it wasn’t going to be long before someone came to offer an answer. She thought taking blood was a bit much, but they seemed to insist on it. Pandora just offered a slight pout, much like a child, given she wasn’t a fan of needles.
“Sorry for squeezing your hand.” She said it quietly, offering an apologetic glance up at her friend before leaning her head on his arm. “Thank you for coming with me. It means a lot to me that you’re here, Sirius.”
