Sisyrinchium striatum

Sisyrinchium is a genus in the Iris Family, best known in California for the diminutive Sisyrinchium bellum, commonly called “blue-eyed grass” - even though it is not a grass at all. The plant pictured above is the much taller yellow-flowered species from Argentina and Chile named Sisyrinchium striatum.
