Site Announcement, Peace Corps Thailand, PST 128. March 16th, 2016

I found out that I will be in Pathiu region in Chumphon Province in Southern Thailand. The province is the gateway to southern Thailand, with access to the long coastal beach and the land of bird nest. All I know so far is that there is a train station 13 km away and an airport 18 km away that Nok Air has 2 flights every day to Bangkok. And bus and van is pretty frequent all over Thailand, so I will have access to that as well. There is only one big school in my region with 270 students and the site hosted 2 previous PCV 6 years and 4 years ago. I will be their 3rd PCV, so I am excited for that. Beach is only 13 km away as well Biking is my main way to commute in my region and it will be a nice bike ride to the beach if I want to relax and read a book. That's all I know so far.
