In the era where we are bombarded with tons of information every day while our attention span has become no better than a toddler’s it’s easy to overlook or misjudge something. I admit that I didn’t care much for Skáphe when I first listened to them. It’s the very nature of their music that created that feeling. It’s so dense and suffocating that takes time and patience to let it set within you. They’re still growing on me (I still think the drums could sound a bit more “punchy”) but overall they provide a unique (and time distorting) listening experience. Oh and thanks to my friend @mundussenescitiv for pointing them out!
