had the privilege to visit the Coffman Ranch just outside town as part of a plein air painting group this morning. The Coffmans have donated a portion of their ranch to @aspenvalleylandtrust and a few artists have been asked to paint AVLT conservation easements as part of a show at the @aspen_chapel_gallery next fall. so much to look at! only made 4 tiny “skaintings” and hope I got some good photos so I can work bigger over the winter months. Every time I get to paint outdoors...and esp old barns and farming equipment...I can’t help but think of college days out and about rural Illinois.
