I don't know much about the lore of 40k Ultramarines and probably miss a lot of important stuff. But I can't help but wonder if the 40k Rob Guilliman is so bad a fighter in general, or is he like this only in Blangels lore?
I've been thinking about Skarbrand, and how he faced G-man and Dante on separate occasions. Rob managed to defeat him *only* with the help of Black Templars. Whereas Dante, the suicidal man, cleaved the demon in half and went on with his day.
Yes, Khornate demons are a bunch of loosers. Yes, Roboute is a statesman and manager, not a warrior per se. Still, a primarch is supposed to whoop ass. I assume GW intentionally downgrade him for The Drama, although it looks ridiculous to me.
updated codex ferrus and fulgrim are doing fine btw. turns out killing and dying for your own stubborn pursuit of perfection is basically the same in terms of character development just about and they both acknowledge their issues and they're having a great time now that they've mutually agreed to chill the fuck out.
fulgrim is the biggest of the four also he's just conveniently sized for the picture, bc he understands aesthetic sensibilities ty fulgrim
