I’m almost finished with Leave Her Wild. I know it will take me awhile to write Enchanted Rain (OC: Skylar with Jamie O set in Seattle). So I’m thinking while I do that I will repost Skating Lessons with the OC that it should’ve been written with (and was but I changed her name to reader insert) then add a Montreal epilogue?

Anyone interested in a Skating Lessons epilogue? I was just gonna leave it but I’ve had some ideas brewing and well…the muse is hotter than ever.

So I’m re-reading Skating Lessons and have a question. You say “…because you could get to the bench without having to get on the ice.”

I’ve never been to a hockey game and it’s been a while since I’ve ice skated so I’m a bit confused. I thought the benches were accessible from the tunnel. Do you really have to get on the ice to get to a bench at every ice rink?

I’m assuming you are talking about when the female character (Mason’s mom) walks to the bench when Mason is skating.

Access to the bench without getting on the ice is hit or miss here in Columbus (I’ve been to most of them). Ice Haus, where the Blue Jackets practice and the AAA Blue Jackets play, you can access the bench without walking onto the ice. They have public skates too which are always fun. Anyway, there is a tunnel under the bleachers at their practice rink which is what is in Skating Lessons. Hope this helps.

I do have this insane idea of rereleasing this with the OC female lead that is in my head when I write it then have a 2nd series for Montreal.

Dear Skating Lesson friends...

To the ones who have been there from the beginning, I appreciate you cheering me and the trio on. With asks, with notes, with messages. Your love for them and me makes me want to keep writing.

To the ones I see who are reading through it and liking as you go, It means so much and know I see every single one of you!

To the ones who reblog and comment, I seriously look forward to seeing your tags and comments. They are something I look forward to each and every chapter. The fact that my writing is even worth a reblog means something to me.

To the ones who just read and don’t interact, I was you at one point and I get it. I still love that you read through my stuff at all.

To all of you who have been patient as I work through my writing funks, thanks for sticking it out when others did not. I promise the remainder of the series will be out before you know it and it will be worth the wait.

I started this fic September 1, 2019 and I never thought anyone would read it but wrote it for myself. I still keep writing it for me just enjoy having you all along for the ride even if it’s just a few.

In chapter 28 of Skating lessons , at the end, is the reader pregnant cause of "can you support the 3 of us?" As in her,Mason and a baby or does that mean just her ,Mason and Josh ? Just making sure I'm on the right page 😂 I live for this series 🥰

I woke up this morning thinking about a lot of things but one was the abuse I wrote about in Skating Lessons part 28. That came from a raw, vulnerable place that unfortunately many can relate to. Just know if that person is you that it doesn't define you. It doesn't determine your path in life. That it doesn't make you weak or pathetic. Doesn't define you or determine your worth.

Adding my real emotions into a fictional piece of writing is sometimes a double edged sword. This, friends, is that time.
