Based on a #Submariner “Hulk” 116610LV, Brown wanted a customization that would add more power, agility and“ stamina ”to the famous Rolex model.The watchmakers of the Skeleton Concept atelier have undertaken a bold and daring personalization. They have entirely skeletonized the movement - the volume of the timepiece has been visually accentuated by keeping the original bezel and playing with contrasts of colors. The lines of the movement, the strapping, the indexes and the oscillating weight are highlighted in a bright orange as well as with thin white lines to add even more character to the concept. These bold creative choices forged a sculpted and much more ribbed look to the piece. They have succeeded in drawing even more attention to this graphically elaborated concept. SKELETON CONCEPT X VIRAT KOHLI Skeleton Concept is coming back with an incredible new Concept made for one of the best Cricket players of History, @virat.kohli ! The famous Cricket champion asked the French atelier to customize his Rolex®️ Daytona 116520, using a sumptuous navy blue as a dominant color, 24k Gold on strategic pieces as well as to highlight the numbers 1 and 8 dear to his heart. “Turn this watch into something that I have never seen before”, he said. And @Skeletonconceptofficial delivered! It took them 18 months to design this magnificent cutting-edge timepiece. They have worked with a Sapphire gem-cutter to create a “C” shaped dial and a team of goldsmiths to custom-made a forged Titanium bezel and extra micro-engravings for the markers and numbers and a signature stamp of Virat Kohli, which add texture and personality to the timepiece. The case was also modified to embrace the vintage codes of the Daytona while also ablating the crown guards. They have hand brushed the caseback and polished the lugs to create this “mirror-polish” effect for maximum luxury. The timepiece also comes with a second blue rubber strap to fully match the movement. Skeleton Concept has done an impeccable work. @skeletonconceptofficial SKELETON CONCEPT X BLAISE MATUIDI Weeks of preparations - and it’s finally here: the Matuidi Concept - designed with and for the Fifa world champion, former Paris @psg and @juventus , @blaisematuidiofficiel Together with Blaise Matuidi, we decided to skeletonize his GMT-MASTER II, turning this already beautiful timepiece into an exceptional concept. The central idea was to praise the football universe throughout the design of the skeleton movement as well as reflect Matuidi’s “feet on the ground” personality. We decided to entirely reshape the automatic winding module and the dial, coloring it in a beautiful matte green, to add extra sophistication to the model. It is like having a totally different timepiece once in the dark thanks to the special luminescent intra-ceramic lazer glass we added: it illuminates the entire movement once in the dark - thus accentuating the illusion of volume and depth. The changes made combined with the monochrome ceramic black bezel and the sumptuous oyster steel case and bracelet, turn this timepiece into an example of elegance and simplicity.
