another drawing inspired by the shapes and elements of @onowey's trueform piece here, for the @spnremixgiftexchange. this one was firmly in my comfort zone, but also allowed me to avoid defaulting to my usual shapes and do some cooler looking patterns!

honoured to have @twinone122 choose my prompt for @destielaureversebb! read below for a story about heart, duty, and having to work between them:

The Cost of Duty

Castiel rides into King John Winchester’s capital with his celestial armor still gleaming and exile still fresh on his back. Denied by the Order that raised him and stripped of his rank for daring to attempt to rescue his sister, he has only one option left. He’s come to the king's court seeking aid to rescue his beloved sister from the clutches of an abusive marriage. Castiel feels duty-bound to save her at all costs. He didn't expect the cost to be his heart.

for the @spnremixgiftexchange i saw @onowey's tiny eel cas + octopus dean and immediately wanted to see them spilled over each other.

look at how cute they are!

also couldn't give up the chance to draw them being eaten. ngl i almost gave up on these ones but they worked out! they feel the most self indulgent i've ever been drawing haha

fun fact, try google translating the words 문어, 낙지, and 쭈꾸미 separately and they'll all come up as octopus

very excited not only that i can show what i've been working on for the @spnangelbang, but also that everyone can now read @explainslowly's s3 rewrite with cas chained to dean (metaphorically and literally)!

i went for a triptych inspired from the original garden of earthly delights (eden -> earthly delights -> hell), plus some demonic trueforms.

When Castiel is summoned and bound, he has much reason to worry - the kind of people who seek to control angels are usually of poor moral character and do so to nefarious ends. Dean Winchester, however, is far from the usual sort - he’s righteous and charming, beautiful and clearly deserving of all good things. And thus it will surely pose no problem if Castiel stays bound to such a man and does everything in his power to keep him safe.

Chuck, vindictive little shit he is, keeps throwing Castiel into various universes. Every time he finds his beloved Dean, and every time they thwart Chuck’s narrative. This time, Chuck decides that Castiel needs to be unable to find the Righteous Man. So when Castiel wakes up, he finds that he is unable to move a muscle. How will he find his love?
