Hey, I have a very specific question about a detail in yume nikki/fangames. Protagonists walk at half the default speed and every step makes a sound and I was wondering if you had any posts explaining how that works mechanically? I've tried going through YN's events but i can't make sense of it so i wondered if other people have had better luck

You mean how to make footsteps, or how to slow them down?  I’ve got two footstep tutorials in this tag, but I don’t have a speed tutorial.  All I do is set an automatic move event at the start of the game that lowers the speed one stage, then activates a switch like “Speed Set -> ON”, and then make another blank page for that even that activates if “Speed Set is ON” so the speed doesn’t get lowered any further (and 2003 doesn’t freeze).

the intersex post you made is good but also the whole "choosing" to identify thing is a bit of a tricky issue because of the difference between people who experience dysphoria and those who don't. Some people don't experience dysphoria yet feel more comfortable presenting or identifying in specific ways, so they might not have as much at stake if they don't present in the most comfortable way? Also you talked about intersex ppl 'choosing' to indetify as trans which dudebro might misinterpret tbh
