Drew those Wednesday of last week (so not the Wednesday of this week, the previous one). I wanted to work on my art skills, using Pinterest models I could find. The second draw was me experimenting with my pencils because I have no idea how the different types of pencils works 🤣🤣

Just saw someone's Art in my feed and for a moment, I let the Envy consume me.

Looking at this innocent person's art and I was like “DAMN, BUDDY, YOU GOOD!”

“But you know what? I'm gonna be better, ON GOD, I'M GONNA BE BETTER.”

And somehow that motivated me to do some simple painting practice runs.

im sick and tired of businesses not training candidates on the job and then moaning about the mythical “skills gap”. if they dont train employee, they dont GET employee. they complain about not getting their ROI when employees jump ship to competitor, but thats what benefits and wage increases are for. yet ask anyone of they would be willing to actually pay more to keep their employees and they all go “NO WAGE INCREASE, NO TRAINING, QUADRUPLE WORKLOADS! YOU DO IT AND YOU DO IT NOW! NOW!!“ *whip crack* and then they wonder why the non existent skills gap is (not) a thing. its obviously not because they keep putting up barriers and moving the goalposts, like college degrees and years of experience for jobs that don’t actually require them. 🙄

Skill Development Scheme for Minorities (Welding Technology), Karnataka 2018-19

The Minority Welfare Department of the Government of Karnataka invites applications from students belonging to Minority Communities i.e. Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi who are interested in receiving hard skill training (Welding Technology) under various skill development and entrepreneurship and livelihood courses.

This is an initiative to empower the minority class of the state of Karnataka. They shall be imparted free hard skill training (welding technology) under various sectors and courses like Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood. After completion, the candidates will also receive certificates signed by the concerned institute and Director, Directorate of Minorities.
