Does your OC enjoy hugs? What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with receiving affection from others?
Sky loves hugs! She doesn’t really initiate physical affection much (and when she does it’s with her family and closest friends) but she absolutely loves to receive it. She might be a bit surprised if a stranger initiates it but she wouldn’t be uncomfortable (given said person isn't a walking red flag). Her main way of expressing affection is quality time, doing things together, sharing interests together, the like.
What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?
Expressing care nonverbally is pretty much Sky’s main form of doing so, mostly in the form of quality time. She'll visit her friends, go out on rides or play games together, or sometimes just sit in the same space as them, offering her presence and showing she enjoys theirs regardless of how they’re doing it. With her closer circle, there’s also a bit of physical affection there. Walking up behind her aunt and uncle to give them small hugs, walking into Vio’s room to lean against him (or just straight use him as a pillow), rest her head on Dipper’s shoulder or play with her hair. Sky’s close ones also return it in similar fashion, with quite a bit of gift giving too (primarily in the way of small treats) because she doesn’t buy much for herself.
What are some of their favourite things and why? List as many as you can think of!
• Stuffies! Sky has a whole army of stuffed animals she’s collected throughout the years taking up space in her bed and she could not sleep soundly without them. Some of them have sentimental value some she just found cute.
• Food, in general, but in particular finger foods and also anything chocolate. She is the person to show up to a function and spend most of it back-and-forthing to the snack table.
• Tiny animals of any variety, mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird, as long as it’s not an insect (with a few exceptions) she will be fawning over it and petting it if she can.
• Rain! She turns into a little kid when it starts drizzling. She finds it refreshing and she doesn’t really mind getting wet much. As long as it’s not absolutely pouring you will find her frolicking in the yard when it starts raining.
• She’s very drawn to the apocalyptic genre, oddly enough given her more anxious tendencies, but there’s something cathartic about it to her.
• She also loves sitcoms, something she picked up from her dad and uncle, but it’s always nice to sit down and watch something purely for the kicks and giggles and she finds it comforting.
• Little fidget toys, in particular spinners and those stress balls filled with little gel balls, little things to keep her hands occupied so she’s not fraying the ends of her hair instead.
• Snow! She didn’t exactly get much snow until she came to Jorvik so when snow falls you will find her outside rolling around, terrible for her joints but hindsight is 20/20.
