Kind of a sad drawing because this scenario, all four of them together after leaving the Temple, can never happen.
Everyone's hair is growing out a little from the uniform haircut except Kaelía's because she likes hers that way.
I changed the shape of Zhe'ārani's nose to better match the common features of someone with achondroplasia, since people with achondroplasia often have a button nose. (This does mean it doesn't match Rovian's anymore.) I also changed her eye colour; they now turn ice blue for magical purposes and the eyes of the person her magic is acting on mirror that, and the rest of the time they are dark brown like her dad's (and Rovian's, and most Gharans').
Zhe'ārani's vitiligo patches are a little bigger in this drawing because some time has passed and they sometimes grow over time.
Zhe'ārani is wearing Gharan summer clothes, which are one piece of fabric that leaves a lot of skin bare; the others are wearing Rāmiq summer clothes, which are long and loose and don't leave a lot of skin bare. Different ways of dealing with the heat and sun. Zhe'ārani needs to wear a lot of sunblock because her patches are very susceptible to sunburn but she still prefers this style because it gives her wings space to breathe and doesn't trigger her sensory sensitivities (she is also the only one with bare feet, also for sensory reasons; conversely, for Līs, stepping on Things and getting Things on their feet is really unpleasant sensorially so they always wear socks and shoes).
