Skylar’s Mood Board ?/?
Sky and Aaron - Time Turned Fragile by Motion City Soundtrack
Tiny hands, recycled cans, the metal bands I could not stand.. The time you cried and threw your crayons across the floor...These are the things I think about when I'm alone without you I wonder of your whereabouts and hope like hell you're happy where you are.
Sky wasn’t one to keep things that weren’t useful - but that didn’t mean she didn’t have a box or two of things that were up in her attic.
“Aaron,” Sky called to her brother pulling out a photo album.
“Sky I’m trying to find a - what is that.”
“Shut up and look at the pictures with me,” Sky said sitting on the ground flipping through the pictures of Aaron - as the oldest his were at the beginning. “You were such a dweeb.”
“Hey I was three. Look it’s when you were a baby. You were so sweet. What the hell happened.” Aaron said, in spite of himself sitting next to his sister and leaning on her shoulder to see.
“Same thing that happened to you. You think mom still has those overalls?” Sky snarked back flipping the pages. “God you looked so silly at ten. Who let you pick your clothes.”
“Not like you’re much better.”
“I was seven! You can’t blame me.”
“Wait go to the page were you were thirteen and in your goth phase.” “This is why we can’t have nice things, Aaron.” Sky said tapping his head with hers. After all these memories - although they seemed like a life time ago - didn’t hurt as much as they once did.
It was probably because she wasn’t alone anymore.
“Wait I think this is the album with you’re footie pajamas!”
“Skylar Reed I swear -”
Lucy and Sky - How Far We’ve Come by Matchbox 20
Well I, believe, it all, is coming to an end Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend, Let's see how far we've come Let's see how far we've come
Sky Pushed Lucy out of the way of the falling tree. Gasping at the impact of the tree on her she couldn’t believe that she’d done it.
After all the vision had said Lucy was going to be the one under this tree.
“Luce I did it. I changed the vision,” Sky said coughing trying to wriggle under the log. Thankfully because Lucy hadn’t been under the tree she could and did lift it up.
A smile filled Sky’s face even though her friends face wasn’t nearly excited.
“Sky you shouldn’t do things like that - you could have gotten hurt.”
“But do you realize what this means? Visions don’t have to come true. I can change them!”
“Yes but-” Lucy was cut off but a hug from her normally cut off friend.
Soren and Sky - Beekeeper by Dessa
Here comes the beekeeper With her pitcher full of smoke She’ll put us all to sleep I hope it’s dreamless and it’s deep Sweet Prometheus, come home They took away our fire And all that this scarcity promotes Is desperate men and tyrants
Sky was falling asleep at her desk again. After so many attempts to finish the solution she just couldn’t get it right. Sighing she shook her head trying to get her mind back on her task. It didn’t last long as her phone started to ring. Sighing she answered. “Soren you should be asleep right now.”
“Yes but you should be as well and I can see your lab lights on. What are you working on?”
“Things Soren.”
“That’s not exactly the most descriptive way to give me information. In fact it tells me very little about what you’re actually doing -”
“Cell growth. I’m working on cell growth.” “Oh that is interesting. I thought you were working on -” Soren continued and Sky just gave a half smile and let her friend babble. After all it wasn’t like she was going to get anything done tonight and it was better than sleeping.
I think a lot of psychopaths are just geniuses who drove so fast that they lost control.

And I will stay up through the night Let's be clear, won't close my eyes And I know that I can survive I'll walk through fire to save my life And I want it, I want my life so bad I'm doing everything I can Then another one bites the dust It's hard to lose a chosen one
