It’s frustrating how hard it is to get readers for gen fic.
I’m working on two major fics right now, both gen, with actual plots that I put thought into (my zombie au and my shiro therapy fic). And I don’t mean to sound like an a**hole but I think they’re pretty good, especially compared to a lot of the mindless ship drabbles I’ve written. But holy shit they only get like, 10% of the hits as my kl@nce drabbles get. I know that’s just how it is, and I’m not surprised by it or anything. It’s just a bit disheartening and frustrating. I love writing these gen stories, and I just wish there was some validation to be had. >.<

Hey guys! I've set up a Patreon to allow me to share bonus content and to help me make ends meet. Any level of support is highly appreciated, and that includes reblogs to help spread the word! There are various tiers with rewards like access to my outlines, author notes, pictures of journal pages, early access to drafts, and polls to help me decide what to title things/what to work on next. If you want to send me prompts and such, there are options for that as well. Again, I highly appreciate any and all support, and thank you for reading 💝
tagged by @lvtvr to post the last sentence i wrote and tag the same number of ppl as there are words in the sentence!!
Conversation abandoned, they clashed and separated again and again, the sparks coming from their swords delighting the audience.
I don’t really know whom to tag, but if you see this and want to do it, please feel free ✌️
Me: Now I have all this time to work on WIPs! I can finally bring them out of hiatus
My brain: Here are two brand new longfic ideas :3c
I reblogged a couple of ask games in the past few days, but got no asks. So idk if Tumblr ate them or if it’s the usual thing where no one wants to engage 🤔😅
