Even when the Faroese Whale Killers aren't brutally slaughtering the whales, they're cruel. Today they drilled (with a carpenters drill) a tag into the dorsal fin of the whales and drove them back to sea, hitting them with oars - when they were obviously exhausted and traumatised from being aggressively herded into shallow waters. Maybe I have a very special sense of humor but actually that is me in a nutshell and I stand by it. I've been frustrated with Faroe Islands and Denmark lately about what is going on in Faroe Islands and that Denmark helps them with Royal Navy from Denmark? ? Tax money! It costs very many dollars to do this and to arrest Seashepherd crewmembers because they want to save pilot whales?? That is a mystery to me. If they think they have the right to kill well then our right are the same to protect and save. That's how #StandUp250 Do you pass by someone that are saving someone a person or maybe a cat? Even if you don't the person that is saving don't get arrested for this. It's like they are stuck in 1600 with tradition. It's impossible to talk to them, they never answer straight to a question they are always starting with slander about Paul Watson and Seashepherd, it's like they are blaming Seashepherd for every wrong in this world. I personally don't think that they had lasted one day in THE REAL WORLD they are so into themselves I have never been through a behavior like this. No manners at all. They even let their children be in the slaughter no matter what age, that is child abuse. I had a picture published of a Faroe Islands boy holding a Fetus of a murdered Pilot Whale stolen from the ocean in his hand. The other day protesters was forced to look at Faroe Islanders ripping pilot whales apart. I think one was pregnant of the whales. They LIKE to kill. It's not about the food anymore it's about kill for the killing. Shouting and running running in the waters whole families and start to kill. Last year there was whales left on the beach to rutt. I don't understand these people at all. They are unbelievable and worse than Taiji and those who knows me know what I think of Taiji Fishermen, in this case I must take my hat of to them because they are respecting the bloody part and have closed off the slaughter area. Not that I accept the slaughter because of that I think it should stop but they aren't going out in the water screaming and woooohoooo. You can see them smile in photos but that is a showing off from their part I think personally. You don't hear them like you hear the Enjoyment in Faroe. Sure sometimes Taiji slips and a Dolphin or more gets hurt. I hate the part that they are driving over dolphins with their engines to hurt them so they can be easy to take. Many dies before slaughter some even commit suicide. So aware of the situation are they so don't tell me Faroe Islands they don't feel because they do and I think Faroe Islands residents knows it. I compare their behavior as both psychopath and sociopaths (Ted Bundy was both) I am very upset especially at Denmark, Faroe Islands they are to dumb to know they are doing cruel things and now what they have gotten Denmark involved in has upset the world and they ignore it completely. Nobody can stop us etc etc. It's always those with big mouths that ends up being laughed at in the end. I can't accept that neighbors like Sweden, Norway or even Finland don't interfere or UK well actually whole EU, WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE? IT'S TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. If nothing or no country take action I'm afraid something really bad can happen. They have upset very many people this year especially with their attitude. Denmark is no better, I'm ashamed living 10 min away from Copenhagen. Last year Copenhagen Zoo killed both Lions and a baby giraffe with an audience (families) have they gone completely crazy. OK I know they kill off Animals at zoo but I never heard of doing it in front of families. Change this Now or this WILL end badly. Kimberly

And no one can explain to me why people would do this. I love these animals so much. Mommy loves them. Her friends love them. Why would anyone want to hurt them? Hundreds of whales and dolphins are slaughtered these days at the Faroes. It’s against the law of the European Union, but despites being an EU member Denmark is supportive towards the slaughter! 7 members of the Sea Shepherd crew have gotten arrested yet. This is beyond insane!!!

Each year, more than 1,000 pilot whales are slaughtered in the Faroe Islands. This is a tradition, and women, men and children take part in the drive hunts (”grindadráp”) that end up with the whales butchered on the shore. Some of them die within seconds. Others can take up to four minutes.

Sea Shepherd is leading the sixth campaign in the islands, until October. It’s named after the term that the grind foreman uses to call off a hunt, “sleppid grindini”, which literally translates to “set the whales free”.

We need to stop this. We need everyone to know, and everyone to help.
