Slit-scan photographing people’s heads at the Arts DRIVA showcase last week, using a cheap webcam attached to a bicycle wheel on a rickety wooden frame, and fed through a Processing app I wrote. Pixel slices stacked using Photoshop actions, JavaScript and HTML, then exported to PDF. Quite a process! My new version shoots and stacks live using a HD webcam and Processing.
