I'm currently playing Oblivion for the first time. I have just a few graphics mods but I love how potato-ey everyone looks. The only one that seems even remotely fuckable is Martin (and Vilja, but she's a modded companion so sadly she isn't canon)
Finished Book 6 and I'm starting Book 7, and I'm guessing Malleus's issues/Blot is going to stem from him coming to terms with mortality and he'll try to keep everyone in a kind of eternal slumber so he never loses any loved one's ever again. I, as the resident magicless human who has become his otome love interest, will have none of this shit
Me: Look, if I could come to terms with mortality at age 8 and then cope with losing my entire family, friends, and WORLD without putting everyone in a coma, you can deal with whatever you have going on. Sometimes it's death that you see coming, sometimes it's a tragic accident cutting their lives short, and sometimes it's a magic mirror dumping you in another dimension without SSRI prescriptions or bottles of amaretto. You just find out what booze exists in this world and then research what herbs you can smoke yourself stupid with to cope without being A SELFISH AUTONOMY-VIOLATING ASSHOLE.
I'm playing Steins;Gate since I've only ever watched the anime and I still find it astonishing that this series has done the impossible by having a moe-loving pervert character that I actually like
