‘   can  i  help  you  with  something  ?   ’       zahra  speaks  approaching  the  costumer  in  her  florist  shop.   it  had  many  kinds  of  flowers  and  herbs  along  with  a  back  room  that  she  used  for  her  creams  and  potions.    he  was  definetely  new  in  town  and  it  sparked  zahra’s  interest.    ‘   are  you  looking  for  anything  specific ?  ’

truth be told, she stopped listening about five minutes ago. it wasn’t her fault, at least not entirely. he was getting technical. and she’d just spent he last hour putting two toddlers to bed. two very opposite, somewhat high maintenance toddlers to bed. and now he was talking magic. or...curses, spells, hexes, witchy stuff that she didn’t have the brain capacity to absorb right now. sighing, caroline stood up from where she’d all but collapsed on the couch, moving over to where he was sitting and dropping herself sideways onto his lap, giving him a look.  ❝ please, stop talking. ❞ she teased, letting her hands slide down to his shoulders to gently tug off his jacket, draping it onto the desk behind her before turning back to him.          /          @sltzvamp​   +   sinday things !

❝ well, ❞  she hesitated, trying to think of the right answer. he was clearly not himself, which was...expected, all things considered. a couple of years ago he’d been a researcher. then a teacher. then some badass scary hunter and now he was an original vampire. it was species whiplash, to say the least.  ❝ that’s the nice thing about vampirism. you can be whoever you want to be. and if you don’t like it you can change. wipe the slate clean. start entirely over.  ❞   he had, quite frankly, all the time in the world. the question was whether or not he wanted to view it like that.  ❝ i know this sucks, ❞  her voice softened, smile fading into a more serious expression.  ❝ but...we’ll get you through it. you’re gonna be okay. ❞

❝ you gave me a B. ❞  of all the things she should be worrying about, it’s not this. and he damn well knows it. she could be barging into his office after school hours to tell him about the fact that their town is overrun with supernatural creatures, each one posing more and more of a threat than the last. she could complain about elena’s relationship choices and how they very obviously directly impact her life and their town’s safety. any one of those things could be taking priority, but he has to give her a B.  ❝ you couldn’t even spare a B+? or an A-? seriously? ❞           /          @sltzvamp​ !

widened   eyes,   feeling   the   tips   of   fake   eyelashes   brush   across   burgundy   burberry   glasses   [   a   rare   sight   to   see   due   to   the   modern   technology   of   contacts.   ]   scoff,   hands   pushing   back   the   platinum   locks   as   attention   focused   on   him.   an   adoptive   father,   the   person   who   took   the   gemini   girls   in   after   the   vile   murder   of   their   biological   mother.   regardless   of   the   circumstances,   he   and   their   surrogate   mother,   caroline,   never   treated   the   two   less   than   their   own.   their   lives   were   far   from   simple   or   even   normal,   but   it    was   theirs   and   it   was   one   she   loved   through   it   all.   “   just   because   you’re   recreating   tiktoks   with   the   boys   doesn’t   make   you   funny.   ”   fingers   sliding   down   the   screen,   viewing   the   toxic   masculinity   the   wolves   exerted.   “   you’re   only   encouraging   their   stupidity.   not   to   mention,   they’re   hustling   you.   so   who’s   the    real   clown   here?   ”
