I must protest. I have bones.

Mississippi is the Slugburger. I get this isn't a burger chart, but a slugburger ain't a burger. It's a sammich. No beef for burging. (It's also delicious)

Also, as a resident of Tennessee, I have heard-of the elvis... I have pictures of Elvis on my phone unironically. (He was my master's master's martial arts student. We're Martial Arts Cousins.) But like. Ive never eaten one. It's far more common to find pulled pork or fried chicken sammiches literally everywhere.

Many a hungry time in my life has been bolstered by the humble, mid, pulled pork sammich. Still delicious even when mid. I don't think people talk about TN bbq enough. Memphis is fuckin full to bursting with some of the best I've ever had or seen. Hell, we had a stand in my home town in the boonies (~1000 ppl) that blew my fuckin mind and I still remember fondly. I don't know that I've had better simple bbq since.

Today I took my second step on my journey towards the perfect #hamburger. Thanks to the wisdom of @motzburger I learned about the Mississippi #slugburger! Now some in my party scoffed and the notion of no cheese, so I had to mod the recipe for some, but I made a pure one for myself. This bread crumb infused patty is served on a white bun, pickles, and a yellow mustard. This burger is all about the balance of textute. I was shocked at this delicious regional delicacy!
