No, it's like. It's not that it CAN'T be done, but there are just some characters who don't lend themselves to certain situations as easily as others. Or at least, my personal interpretation of them don't fit with certain dynamics or scenarios or kinks or whatever.
Or I'm just moody and I want to read comfort fic in a comfort fandom but I also want kinky hardcore D/s fic but I've already read all of those.
It's one of those.
