“Many injuries. I got them when I was much younger when I spent time with both Sverige and Danmark. “

“It is hard to say what my favorite animal would be. “Aleksander sighs lightly and thinks for a bit. He had never given such a question thought before.

“Perhaps ones that are small and quiet.”

Did a much needed cleanup of my posts. While being inactive myself due to uni and having very little energy in general, I have been boosting a lot of posts from fellow artists, many which are auctions or commission posts that now are old/closed.

I also moved a lot of posts I’ve reblogged of animal photos, art resources, etc. to my side blog @insig-inspiration​ if anyone would be interested to check it out. I do enjoy following peoples inspiration blogs myself. Still got a lot of stuff that isn’t tagged properly but that’s something I’ll tackle another day.

I really can’t wait until fall when I’m hopefully finished with studying, it all depends on wether I manage to finish my bachelor project. Had some health “issues” during the spring that made me unable to work for a couple of months and I still have to keep stress to a minimum. I’ve kept a dialogue with uni and they don’t care if I finish this year or the next, as long as I prioritise myself and my health.

Syttende Mai

Dressed up in his traditional bunad, the Norwegian couldn’t help but let a smile creep onto his face. Today was the day.

The seventeenth of May. The day he had fought for far too long. His people were rejoicing and were taking the day to celebrate all that made their land what it was.

Aleksander felt such a warmth fill him that morning when he had decorated (over decorated) his home with anything that showed off his culture, his people. Despite how much pride and a bit loud he always seemed to get on his national day, he had planned to keep it to himself and just take the day to join alongside his people. He honestly wasn’t expecting much visitors and was hoping his expectations were correct.

[ ooc: hey guys!!! I’m a bit busy today because of work and such! (Who would think I’d have to work today when I work for a VERY Norwegian company.)

“I prefer a small amount, but somehow I managed with more than I would have liked.”

The Norwegian looks up at what seemed like at nothing to an ordinary person. He makes an odd face and mumbles something in Norwegian at said empty space floating just above his head.

“I was once religious because a certain neighbor southern of me thought it would be beneficial for the rest of us to convert to Christianity.”

“But now, not so much.”

Aleksander sighs softly after ending credits rolled on the screen of his television. Another year of Eurovision had come and gone and he had still not claimed victory. That of course did not disourage him, for that year there were very many impressive acts.

Being as bitter as he felt that year towards his other nordic partners (Also to the fact that his little brother hadn’t made it to the finals), he decided to cast his vote towards an unexpected country. The Norwegian man knew that giving his 12 points to Italy would surely result in some passive aggressive messages from his surrounding neighbors. Shrugging, he knew at the end of the day it was just a silly song contest and that he really was only involved with it to keep things interesting.

Aleksander let’s out a grunt in response to the question, folding his hands across his lap while thinking of how to phrase his answer.

“I was married two times before and after declaring independence I told myself I will never marry again. Let’s leave it at that.”

He shifts his gaze off to somewhere else before opening his mouth again.“Someone like me simply can not have that opportunity to love.”

Aleksander looks pensive as he scrolls through text on a kindle resting in his lap. He stops on an article that reads; “Norway, that’s how to write a song- Rybak returns!”

He pauses for a moment and then moves past the article and onto other ones. If he needed to win this year’s Eurovision Song contest then he had to bring back the guy he knew could get the job done.
