I really feel the need to talk for a bit, because I’ve just been sitting here for the last few minutes, thinking about the fact that I am tearing up at this scene. This scene that we have seen countless, hundreds of variations of during the past 20 years. The combination of that illegally cute shot of Satoshi holding the little Wimpod’s tiny ”arms” as it’s thanking him before leaving, and the expression he has while doing so just moved me so much. And the fact that he simply nodded, he didn’t even say anything after it had left, I felt a genuine depth to his emotion.

I just noticed something after re-watching episode SM020, the Pokemon images on the souvenirs have the Pokemon GO artworks used in. That also includes a Porygon here, the banned Pokemon from the original series episode. What a surprise seeing it as a souvenir image, isn’t it?
