i just can’t help but feel so enraged and disrespected by that women’s match.

have a man interfere in the second one, let him take the briefcase in the third one, have him be the spotlight in the fourth one.. but this was literally the first women’s mitb. this is the first match we’ll look at every time we think of when women were so revolutionary in the sport that they got to be a part of this iconic stipulation. yet, the highlight will be centred around a man.

regardless of what happens on tuesday, a man will be the first person to ever take down the women’s briefcase. they can take away carmella’s win, they can redo the entire match, they can remove it from the network, but it’ll still be the case. and that’s what annoys me so much.
