Hey man! I've been after a longsword for ages now but they're never in the UK. An EAE Dagger recently showed up and I was wondering how they compare in your opinion. No doubt the dagger is less versatile, but I know it's down to the individual as to wether the longsword is worth the extra controls it gives you. Thanks a lot and sorry for the rambling!
I actually haven’t even played a dango Dagger yet. I’ve been too mobile to have the opportunity to have John send one my way.

The Dagger is great, and I’m thinking about picking one up because it does the mid gain growly LS sound that I want anyways. So it’s certainly a decent option for a little less money. I think you’d be happy with either to be completely honest. I legitimately don’t spend a whole lot of time tweaking tones with Longswords. I just get it how I like for which ever amp I’m playing through and the EQ varies a little depending on how much gain I’m using. So peep that video of the Dagger and see if it’s making the sounds you want. Probably can get there.
