The Snowstorm

Another delivery made, another family happy. It was all in a day's work for the toymaker brothers. Even if this delivery had been a bit further than what was convenient, it was all worth it in the end, especially since this out-of-the-way town had not a single toymaker to speak of. As they trudged back through the snow, fresh flakes began to fall, adding to the already-deep snow. With how short the brothers were—barely over two feet tall—it was even more difficult with the stuff coming all the way up to their chests. "I sure hope we can get home before dark," Oswald said, following the trail they had made through the snow on the way here.

"This is going to sound weird, but...Let me stand on your shoulders while wearing this trench coat."

“What? Why?”

"Hey Oswald, you know a thing or two about kids, right?"

23. What’s your favorite part about running this blog

||I get to show off my ideal portrayal of Oswald! I loved him in the Epic Mickey games, really. But a lot of things I just felt weren’t exactly what I expected out of the character, I guess. They didn’t give him as much of a differentiating personality from Mickey, nor did they really address a lot of plot points between them. I changed quite a bit about him, but I love writing the rabbit q vq I also love the interactions with other folks!||

HC + mice

( send me  ‘ hc ‘  + a word and i’ll write a headcanon about it regarding my character. )

Jiminy likes the mice of the studio better than most other Disney characters, even if he won’t say so - it’s a lot easier to interact with characters relatively close to his own size, and he considers a good number of them to be among his best friends. Timothy and Mickey were the first characters he genuinely spent time with and loved the company of, other than Pinocchio.

hc + flowers

Jim grew up in a field, so large fields of flowers tend to remind him of home. And they make a good resting point when he’s travelling - (moderate) shelter from the rain, Known Bug Gathering Place, and free leaves if there’s absolutely nothing else to eat. 

He does wish there were smaller flowers more abundantly available because he likes the thought of giving bouquets to people. Even if it’s just to leave them on a hearth as a ‘thanks for letting me crash here without your knowledge’ sort of thing.
