Maybe invest is some bear spray or dog attack deterrent. They’re technically legal to carry as opposed to pepper spray or mace, and they certainly do the job.

6. What are your special interest(s)?

ummm palaeontogy is like my main one i have a lot of special interests that change all the hecking time but atm you could say ice hockey is one rip me

16. Do you have any mental illnesses/other kinds of neurodivergence? How do they interact with/affect your autism?

yeah lol anxiety/depression and undiagnosed eating disorders. the ED is pretty much a manifestation of the sensory issues i have with certain foods. I would def say a lot of my anxiety and depression is a result of me trying to appear as neurotypical as possible most of my life (and before i was diagnosed too) and the toll that has on my emotional/mental health.

22. What do you like about being autistic?

thats a pretty open ended question but I guess one way i look at it from my perspective as someone who was diagnosed as an adult that I get to rediscover myself and understand myself a lot more knowing I’m autistic. Sometimes it frustrates me, but I really love my special interests and I’m passionate about them. And when it comes down to it, I like the way my mind works. At times it’s a struggle, but I like being who I am.
