I was looking for a good reference picture for a new piece I'm making on smile wrinkles so, naturally, I tried a google search. The images were great but the whole first page of results for the web search was on how to minimize smile wrinkles. This is probably the most disappointing part of my day. Why would someone want to erase marks of joy and laughter? I've always admired how some elderly people have deep set wrinkles from years and years of smiling. Maybe it's just my perception, but I think this is the most beautiful sign of a happy life. You can't just arbitrarily get smile wrinkles, it must be earned and built over time. It's a sign of a positive personality and outlook in life and it's like wearing your personality on your face. One day I hope to earn my stripes too. :)
