39. How superstitious your oc? Do they end up following them ‘just in case’? Or are superstitions incredibly important to your oc? What are some that they believe? What about the ones they don’t?

Idristan would tell you that he doesn’t believe in luck, that the Fury controls all things. And to a point he believes this. That said... well, it’s better not to tempt things, isn’t it? Especially when your line of work often involves being in potentially fatal situations.

The ones about voidsent he knows are utter nonsense though. Except for the ones that aren’t.

Mint - Does Ice cream exist in your world? If so, what is your favorite Ice cream flavor?

I’m reasonably sure there are a couple in-game instances of ice cream showing up, but either way, Leon has had it and has even tried his hand at making it a couple of times.

Generally terrified.  I’ve spent a solid 30 years discovering and trying to get around social anxiety.  Beer helps.  A lot.

If I’m mad, I just get quiet and then eventually dip out.  I spent a solid 30 years discovering and trying to get around anger as well.  Self actualization helps.  A lot.

One of my best experiences in FFXIV to date (not counting all of Shadowbringers) is attending the Lucky Sparrow shows on Balmung. As a fan of performing arts guilds and a member of one in WoW, I was so happy to find there are some in FF as well. But I never imagined one could do the things that Lucky Sparrow can do in a show. Their creativity and coordination blow me away!

Coming from WoW to FFXIV myself, it’s amazing the sorts of things that can be pulled off with the game’s emote system and the creativity of its players. I’ve heard nothing but great things about @luckysparrowffxiv and, given the wealth of events I’ve seen, they seem like a great group! From @smith-hadeon, to me, to you: your efforts are not without appreciation! Please keep doing what you do and thank you for contributing positvity to the birthday bash. ♥

The signs are all around but all eyes are elsewhere. Something is coming. He needs to be ready. He needs to be armed.

How fortunate that he has a very unique knife, its design plucked from the vault of ancient knowledge that was poured into his mind. Still, nothing so newly remade can stand against things so old. The black blade requires power. It requires sacrifice.

He has offered it little lives, beings and creatures slain in his travels across the Isles, but those small souls will never be enough. He has to work his way up the chain of being. He has to find something that will truly awaken the blade’s power.

Something that will grant it the lethal touch to kill a god.

One wonders what might become of a man wielding all that stolen power.

Natharai smiles as he idly folds his spindly hands upon his lap. “Not much has changed there; it’s still a good cup of Black Caravan tea or Arathi bourbon. Regretfully, however, I feel less compelled to imbibe than I used to and if I indulge too much it often does not sit well with me. Though,” he breaks off in a good-natured, if not brief, chuckle, “I’m glad that I’m not unable to enjoy them or anything of their like completely.”
