Purple: 10 facts about my room
It's not technically mine, I pay rent on it.
I won't even be renting it in three months, as we have to move. AGAIN.
There's a very fetching naked poster of Emily Browning on the wall.
It contains two motorcycle helmets, two games consoles but only one fridge.
The couch cost us £20. The TV table cost us a further £10, but helped us to move the couch across Brighton.
It currently looks out on one of the main routes around Brighton, but directly in front of the window is a rather sexy motorcycle.
I have three cushions - one with a Tube map, one with Batman and one with stars. The latter two were made by Rolo Tomassi's Eva Spence.
The fridge is currently decorated with magnets and photos.
We only own four films on Blu-ray - Black Swan, Scott Pilgrim, Spring Breakers and Sucker Punch.
I like it.
Elf, cookies, north pole
If you had unlimited money to one shop, which shop would it be?
I'd like to say something cool, like HMV or the Gillingham megastore, but I'm going to be lame and say Tesco because that'd keep me fed for life. Plus the larger stores are like Hypermarkets, so I could almost furnish my home for free too!
Top three favorite bands?
Garbage, Rilo Kiley, Blood Red Shoes
What in your life are you most grateful for?
My family. They're fucking awesome people.
141, 100, 66
141: White Chocolate or Milk Chocolate: Milk chocolate, definitely. Either Milka, or Dairy Milk, or the cheap Sainsbury's 20p bars that taste like advent calendar chocolate.
100: Cried in front of someone: Embarassingly, during Hayley Williams' "it gets better" speech at the gig last night, pointing out how if they can get through their band splits to perform, fans can get through anything that may be outside the gig.
66: People that make you happy: My friends. I don't surround myself with people who don't make me happy. There's a reason I keep people around who are awesome.
If you could put together a football team of all players still in action, who would your all star team consist of?
The phrase "all star" instantly rules out anyone with a Gillingham connection. So, using a standard 4-1-3-2 formation -
GK: Gianluigi Buffon
RB: Philipp Lahm
LB: Leighton Baines
CB: Mats Hummels
CB: Pepe
DM: Andrea Pirlo
CM: Bastian Schweinsteiger
RW: Cristiano Ronaldo
LW: Gareth Bale
FW: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
FW: Alex Morgan
(I realise Pepe would mean we'd play half the games with 10 men. Left out Messi because he really only excels when the game is built around him, at Barca.)
3, 4, 39, 49
Excellent choices, thank you.
3: What kind of sandwich best describes your personality?Definitely a croque monsiour. Meat on the inside, cheese on the outside, and both French in origin.
4: If your crush or significant other were to turn in to a ferret, what would you do? Would you still like/love them?
Of course! Sex would be a tad difficult thought.
39: What was the most awkward moment of your romantic history?
Singing Words by Boyzone to a crush at school. (Pick anything from school, really.)
49: Who is your favorite fictional villain?
Obvious answer would be the Joker. But the Mayor of Sunnydale, Biff Tannen or Michael Jackson would be close runners.
Following the release of their debut album a little over a year ago, Pariso have returned today with a new record. It's called 'Consanguinity' and it's out now.
Loosely based on the theme of family and relations, ‘Consanguinity’ displays highs of atmosphere, melody and thought amidst the band's trademark ferocity and aggression; and displays a sense of evolution that shouldn't be possible in the time frame given since 'Nothing Beyond Everything After'.
'Consanguinity' is available now on 12" vinyl (with an exclusive vinyl-only bonus track), tape (from Smithsfoodgroup) and as a FREE download. No pre-order, no build up, no hype.
