must be. 26+, elemental sorcerer ( preferably a destructive element ) OR darkspawn ( revenant ), in Yeonghae for at least the past 5 years backstory. Yohan and this individual often stuck together. The blade and the one who weilds magic. Whether it be for requisitions or questing for materials, their goal for coin and becoming renowned remained the same. They know the details of Yohan's identity and much about him that he care not admit. One could say they became the best of friends ( why, they even reside in the same home in Memory Grove ... or used to ). They worked together for years. However, there has been a rift in their relationship. As recently as a year ago, Yohan's partner became overzealous with their magic use; even without them being on jobs. This results in some sort of accident that leaves him injured, and their magic is the direct cause of him being partially blind in his left eye now ( and potentially gradually permanent ). He has been extremely cautious around them ever since. mun note. I am open to discussing additional details as to the nature of their relationship, specifically, and how long they've been working together. I was thinking it could also be interesting if this person is in the process of experiencing abyssal rot or magic burn that they have not told him about. They don't have to be a mercenary like he is. In fact, it might be better if they have a relatively mundane "cover" and a potential alias. For example, Yohan is known to be a gardener and trader when not concealing his identity.

desc: between 92 and 98, sion worked as his spy to help him reach his political goals, including but not limited to gathering intelligence on his enemies and sometimes even making them disappear. unfortunately, the duo eventually got exposed and they had to flee goseong.

notes: i had the dragonborn origin in mind for him BUT it is only a suggestion! i’d love to discuss everything else together (what their arrangement was like, what their exact goals were, why and how they got caught red-handed, did they travel to yeonghae together or is this an accidental reunion, etc) so please shoot me a pm! <3
