' was that another joke, or were you telling the truth? ' @ illario
"Which do you think it was, mi amigo?" Illario asks with a soft bit of a grin as he holds his game piece in his hand, studying the state of play between them as he contemplates his next move. Loki is, after all, a sly and intelligent opponent, far more than Illario ever will be, and the assassin knows that. He may have some wild gifts of magic from the sorceress who tricked him into betraying his family, but he doesn't begin to think he is on Loki's level in any way, shape, or form.
He knows Loki is just toying with him, that he can win this game with a single move no doubt, or with a distraction and a sleight of hand. The only real rule was no magic, but Illario knows that isn't the handicap some might think.
"I could be telling the truth and joking at the same time, I am multi-talented like that." Illario says, letting a triumphant grin pass over his lips as he finally decides where he is going to place his piece.
He lifts the black disk up to drop down through the yellow plastic slots to fall down on top of one of Loki's disk, preventing him from being able to make that line of four that was so important to winning the game. Leaning back, he has a smug smirk on his face, and crosses his arms over his chest as his shoulders hit the back of the chair, dark eyes looking up at Loki with mirthful pride.
"Your turn."
