snapbackthatassup replied to your post: Okay best Sara Barellies ...
Out of her whole discography??
yes boo, everyone says Gravity is her best I've never heard it
gimme ur track by track of avril lavigne (like a sentence per song) bc i finally listened to it today and couldn't remember what you said about each. also, hello kitty is ridiculous.
okay darlinâ (iâm gonna publish this tbh)
1. Rock N Roll - amazing, Joan Jett inspired pop punk masterpiece
2. Hereâs To Never Growing Up - great lead single which I used all summer long (although I like What The Hell better off of Goodbye Lullaby tbh)
3. 17 - saccharine pop masterpiece peppered with hints of nostalgia and lost love. It takes everything Teenage Dream was and makes it better 10x.
4. Bitchinâ Summer - cute summertime track meant to be enjoyed while camping and crackinâ a few molson canadians. It never takes off until Avril unleashes her inner MC rapping about the âmotherfuckenâ copsâ #iconic
5. Let Me Go Feat. Chad Kroeger - iconic 3rd single already outcharting Rock N Roll, people love a good cheesy just-married single and here it is. So very Under My Skin of Avril, love it.
6. Give You What You Like - Avril listened to a Lana Del Rey song and then recorded one that blew Lanaâs whole career out of the water. Indie pop masterpiece and an instant classic in her discography
7. Bad Girl Feat. Marilyn Manson - fuck me. to this song. now. Probably the best on the album. Shouty, thrashy, aggressive, brilliant.
8. Hello Kitty - A love letter to her loyal Japanese (and Asian) fanbase. The Queen of Japan doesnât disappoint and although many criticize it, itâs brilliant âletâs all slumber party//like a fat kid on a pack of smartiesâ #iconic
9. You Ainât Seen Nothing Yet - STRAIGHT UP The Best Damn Thing Avril
10. Sippin On Sunshine - another nice summer track, somewhat forgettable to be honest but boasts iconic lyrics like âlike a box of cheap wine// you got me on cloud nineâ
11. Hello Heartache - amazing and favorite midtempo on the album, featuring spooky and haunting backing vocals and a sad story that makes me want to cry my eyes out. 10/10 for me
12. Fallinâ Fast - a song Avril wrote about the current state about her career oops I mean her husband Chad Kroeger, Avril wrote this one completely on her own, so talented.
13. Hush Hush - amazing closing ballad in which Avril uses her masterful songwriting to evoke so many emotions of pain, regret, longing, and acceptance of saying goodbye all at once.Â
