If I use Snapcaster Mage to flashback Approach of the Second Sun, where would it go when it resolves?
It'll be exiled.
Part of what Flashback does is create a replacement effect that sends the card to exile any time it would try to move to a zone other than exile. So that means that Approach of the Second Sun will just exile itself and gain you seven life when you flash it back.

wtf I love UW control now?
Why White And Red Need Good 2 Drops Printed For Modern
2 drop creatures are extremely monumental for a color. When you think any color you can instantly name their best 2 drop, except for two colors, red and white.
Blue’s 2 Drop: Snapcaster Mage
Flashback a counter, a kill spell or a draw spell, it doesn't matter it’s always a valuable card.
Black’s 2 Drop: Dark ‘Bob’ Confidant
Epically in modern life is an extremely expendable resource, but cards are significantly less expendable. This makes trading life for card advantage an extremely valuable asset.
Green’s 2 Drop: Tarmogoyf
A 8/9 for 2 mana? Its easy to say what's good about Tarmogoyf, so lets focus on whats bad about it. The answer? Nothing. Pure value especially with the return of dredge and grixis control using the graveyard to pump your goyf.
If you've been to any modern events you know these cards through and through. I feel each colors 2 drops are very important for multiple reasons. Keeping the colors balanced is important for general health of the format. Red and white are never the main colors of any top tier decks. Only decks white and red star in are their mono color variants. Souls sisters features white and burn features red. Soul sisters isn't winning any big tournaments and burns creatures only serve to be uninteractive. Giving powerful 2 drop creatures to these colors would definitely increase their ability to serve a bigger role in many decks. The other reason is, this would support and give more incentive to play FAIR MAGIC. If Wizards really want to discourage unfair/combo decks in modern instead of banning cards they should give more incentive to play interactive, fair decks.
I'm not saying red or white are bad colors, white is actually my favorite color in magic and has amazing answers/hate for most of the top tier. Also i don't support the idea that Stoneforge and Young Pyro are the 2 drops for white and red. Maybe in legacy or vintage but not in modern. Stoneforge Is banned and young pyro isn't even in the top 50 most played.
