HAH I'M ONLINE, TALK ABOUT 5, 8, 9, 11, 24, 27, 38 & 39 :D
ERI YOU ARE SO CHEEKY ILY
this got long so under the cut it goes and thank you so much for asking them, sweetie. this was really fun and i love you
5: Talk about the best birthday you’ve had.
I answered this in the one just gone, but it would probably have to be my fifth birthday because I had a super cute cake. I also got to hang out with my very best friends. I actually have a picture of us with that cake somewhere and it’s really cute. I just remember me and my best friend at the time Phillip playing doctor and nurse, it was really cute. And I demanded to be the doctor…whoops.
8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of.
This is awful, but I really can’t think of anything that I am proud of that is my own. I’m terminally lazy and incompetent, so nothing I do is very good. But actually, the thing that I am most proud of is probably my Mum and Dad. My mum’s pretty amazing. She came from a terrible childhood, but she has done amazing things. Now she is a councillor and does so much good in the community and helps so many people. And my Dad is incredible. He grew up in an orphanage with absolutely nothing and he has built himself a business and a family and is so strong and loving and a really incredible Dad. So yeah. I’m super proud of them.
9: Talk about little things on your body that you like the most
I don’t like my body, sadly. Like a lot of people. The only things that I sort of like are actually my scars. I have a lot. I’ve done a lot of dumb things and been a reckless little shit sometimes. But they tell stories, and that’s what I really love. Honestly, I could just sit down for hours with someone and talk about our scars, that’s my favourite thing in the world. I dream about someone trusting me to tell me about how they got theirs so we can laugh and maybe cry together. I just really love hearing the stories that left people with theirs. It’s just so amazing. I’ve always been rather obsessed with them. So I’m really proud of mine. Because they show that you’ve lived, you know? And I love the stories. That’s really it.
11: Talk about the best dream you’ve ever had
Oh god. My best dream ever actually involved One Direction and Jess (difficult-butreal). So right. Okay. One Direction was in Auckland for a show at Vector Arena and I was walking by earlier in the day just to check it out (idk why) and there was no one else around. Only when I went there, Zayn and Liam were outside. So, naturally, I was freaking out, and they asked me where a good pizza place was because they were hungry and chilling at the venue for the day. So I told them and I txted Jess (she was on her way in) to hurry up and get there. And the three of us started talking and we got on really well and I told Liam about Jess and me and Zayn were tight as hell and just before they left Zayn grabbed my arm and wrote his number on it in vivid and was like “;) txt me when your friend gets here ok”. So anyway about an hour later I did and they let us into the venue and we hung out backstage with them and ate pizza and rode skateboards around the empty arena and caused mischief and chilled and me and Zayn fucked backstage it was wonderful.
DON’T LAUGH AT ME.
24: Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.
What means a lot to me is when people tell me something because they trust me. So there are things that people like my Mum, and Jess, and you Eri too, have told me that mean a lot because they are close to their heart. And when someone is willing to open their heart to you, that is something very, very special. That’s always very special. And when you do the same to other people and they accept you and give you love back, that’s always means a lot.
27: Talk about your favorite part of someone else’s body
I’m going to talk about Zayn here because I really don’t know who else to talk about. I love his smile. You know when he smiles and he pushes his tongue up against his top set of teeth and his eyes go all crinkly and it’s sort of a lopsided smile but it’s really real and you know that he’s actually truly joyous and happy in that moment? Yeah. That’s my favourite thing.
38: Talk about songs that remind you of certain people.
Any Bruce Springsteen song reminds me of my Dad.
Any Tracy Chapman song or The Monster Mash reminds me of my mum.
Amazing Grace reminds me of my Poppa and that makes me cry.
Fifteen, Long Live, or any other Taylor Swift song reminds me of Jess.
Welcome to Mr G’s room reminds me of Sophie.
Avenged Sevenfold songs remind me of the boy I didn’t think I’d start to like but I did.
Livin’ On A Prayer reminds me of high school and the Ball and my old friends from there.
So Sick by Neyo reminds me of a best friend I wish I’d never lost and a boy I shouldn’t have liked and hate myself for it.
Sk8r Boi reminds me of another best friend I feel guilt over.
Tell Me Why by Taylor Swift reminds me of that one boy I really wish I could get over.
And so many more omg.
39: Talk about things you wish you’d known earlier
I wish I’d known that when people or things die, they actually really die. I wish I had known what that meant when I was young, before I had to learn it through personal experience. It’s just something I never got my head around. And that led to a lot of pain. It’s really hard to fathom what death really is.
I wish I’d known that the only things that you regret in life are the things that you don’t do.
I wish I’d known that all the bad things that happen aren’t always my fault.
I wish I’d known that what you look like and your weight isn’t a determination of your worth and you can be beautiful without it.
I wish I’d known that I actually have the ability to choose what I want to do in life and that I don’t have to do what my parents want before I made the choices I did.
these are the things
