sneaking to shop :: hyoyeon & jiyong
One of the first rules explained to him was that he wasn't allowed to roam outside of the cirque. Though even with that instruction, he couldn't help but break the rule. They were in Japan now, an entirely new place to him, so how could he not break it? He didn't plan on getting himself caught, which is why he woke up relatively early (on the Midnight Circus' clock) to get out and explore this new place. He was rather nervous about telling anyone or asking for anyone to join him. If they said no, and later noticed he wasn't around, they could potentially let it "slip" and Jiyong would end up in a lot of trouble.
The last thing he wanted was to face the three stooges and explain to them why he was out by himself when it was clearly stated that he couldn't do it. So instead of risking it by telling anyone, he woke himself up at 5 PM to set off for the shops that were just a while away from where they were now. The perk about the circus was that in order to get business, they had to set up near a popular area. Jiyong felt lucky that they were near clothing shops and other accessory stores.
The money Jiyong had was limited, but it was enough so that he could buy multiple items. He stuffed the cash into his jean pocket and slipped on a white sweatshirt. He grabbed a beanie and put it on so that it covered his undone circus-do, since he didn't really like it when it wasn't fixed up. He already thought of a new style, that he decided to show off when the crew leaves for their next destination.
He zipped up his tent slowly, to avoid any loud noises that could wake up the rest of the cirque. The quiet circus seemed more like a camp ground than a place for performances and such. Jiyong already couldn't wait until they went back to the home island, simply because he had an actual bed there. It was little things like that, that people took advantage of. Maybe one day the circus will gain a big boast in popularity, which brings in enough of a profit to buy everyone beds! Aish, or maybe that's just wishful thinking.
He walked his way over to the edge of the circus grounds. He took one more look around and started to casually move away from the cirque. His fingers were crossed, silently praying no one catches him.
