AT RISK - #MEDICAL - has OLD #wounds to his HEAD which are STILL in the process of HEALING, and such injuries have likely been a recurring problem for Cubone😢. The ACC is not a suitable place for Cubone to heal and avoid exacerbating his injuries. Cubone is a #gentle, #underweight Boy. . After a long and peaceful walk in a nearby park where he #sniffed and left his scents to his heart content, Cubone and I took a break in the yard. Cubone certainly enjoyed his time leash free, exploring the area thoroughly, sampling duck jerky #politely and accepting my caresses💓. His demeanor shifted from #aloof and well #mannered to #sociable, attention #seeking and very #friendly and #sweet. He started wagging his tail big time. Cubone came uninvited on my lap💓, laid his head on my chest and remained that way for a while, rested, just #content to be paid attention to, to be loved maybe💗 (I wonder if he knows what it is?) and to feel safe🙏🏻. Looking at our selfies, I marveled at Cubone resting and appearing so noble and solemn in my arms…We both felt good and warm, even on a very cold autumn day…I was so happy to have given Cubone some joy as from his looks I gather that life might not have dealt him a fair share😢…Cubone, although a big dog is quite #easygoing, sweet and #docile. He has gotten the veterinary team’s thumbs up as a very well behaved patient… I am not sure he knows his basic commands but does come when called and occasionally sits. Cubone needs TLC🙏🏻, more meat around his bones and a safe and loving place to mend his past.
