I'm back from South Dakota & Wyoming. Thank you to the National Park Service and the Junior Ranger Program for creating ways for my kid to more deeply engage in history and natural resources. The park rangers were all awesome when speaking with my kid. Many of the rangers we spoke with were from local tribes and they shared with us the native names and stories used for park features.

This was my first vacation since 2017 when I visited a tumblr mutual in Sweden! This was the first real vacation for my 10 year old kid that wasn't actually a visit to a family member or a weekend camping trip.
