In The Bells of St. John when the Doctor tries to get her into the TARDIS, Clara was very suspicious of this and accused it of being the Doctor’s snog box.

In The Magician’s Apprentice, Clara implies that she has spent some time kissing Jane Austen.

In The Girl Who Died, she tells the Doctor she’ll fight him for Ashildr to which he replies, “The human race, you're obsessed. You all need to get a hobby.”  Basically, the Doctor is saying that humans are preoccupied with sex.

So now Clara is taking the long way back to Gallifrey in a TARDIS with a woman she finds attractive.

so the other day i was thinking about the doctor's rules for courtney again, "no hanky panky". but like, why not just go ahead make the tardis a snog box as it was suggested and create a whole new generation of time lords??? river's dna is the same as a time lord's so.... it could happen ;)

So eleven's been trying to get Clara to come travelling with him, because of Oswin and because he's trying to figure her out and because he's just really lonely and she's smart and he could always use some company and help.

But every time he asks Clara she just calls it the "snog box" and even though he's been denying it, he blushes every time and she just calls him out on his bullshit.

But in reality after he stops blushing and after Clara leaves, eleven just gets really sad because yeah, it was a snog box, because he's now remembering Rose and everything they had done in the TARDIS, in the swimming pool and her bedroom and his bedroom and hell even in the main console, and then he's remembering everything they did together, travelling and then losing her. And then he's remembering Amy and Rory, or maybe it happened in the other order, but it was the Pond's snog box, because hell, Amy got pregnant in the thing and then he's thinking about their daughter and River and how he just wants to talk to River some more.
